AVON THEATER

The Avon Theater is rich in history. Built in 1926 and designed by prominent architect Charles H. McCauley, the theater is considered some of the finest architecture in the city. This building was probably McCauley's first Tudor-style commercial space, and it served as a prototype for later similar designs in Birmingham
